Support
Email support@unboom.app and we’ll help you get your room sounding right.
Send diagnostics
In Unboom, open Settings › Diagnostics and choose Copy, then paste the report into your email. It includes app and audio health, without room names, device names, or recordings.
The scan is waiting or says the room is noisy
Pause music and video, and keep the room quiet until the sweep finishes. The scan continues on its own once the microphone can hear the test sound clearly.
The test sound is too quiet or too loud
Turn your speakers up or down a little, as Unboom asks. The scan continues on its own when the level is right.
Correction isn’t changing my Mac’s sound
- Check that your Mac runs macOS 14.2 or later.
- Make sure the speakers you set up are your Mac’s sound output. Other outputs, like headphones, are left alone.
- Allow system audio recording for Unboom in System Settings › Privacy & Security.
- Quit any other copy of Unboom. Only one copy can correct your Mac’s audio.
- DAWs like Logic Pro play without correction, so they aren’t delayed. Add the Unboom plug-in in yours. Unboom shows you where while the DAW plays.
Bluetooth speakers
Bluetooth adds delay and can drop out. For the most reliable scan and correction, connect your speakers with a cable.
